Scientists to build artificial human brain

The human brain`s power is currently unrivalled, no machine can touch it. Now scientists intend to recreate one for the purposes of studying neurological diseases such as Parkinson`s and Alzheimer`s. To be housed in a facility near Dusseldorf Germany, the brain will feature thousands of three dimensional images built around a central cockpit so that scientists can virtually fly around different areas for study. The project has initial funding from the EU and is shortlisted for a 1 billion Euro grant to be decided next month.
