Skywatching: Annular eclipse set for this weekend
This weekend , specifically on Sunday the moon the pass in front of the sun marking a rare annular solar eclipse.
This phenomenon will be visible from China to the easternmost regions of North America Sunday May 20th. A general rule of thumb, in North America, the farther west you are, the better your chances are to get a really nice look. A note of caution, do not look directly at this eclipse without a proper filter. Annular eclipses don't totally block out the Sun and can be hazardous to your eyes if viewed directly.
