Yes he survived a fall off of this cliff

Richard Henriksen, is a surgeon by day job and an avid base jumper for 20 years. He was inches away from the edge when this high bar he was on collapsed and he fell. Did I mention this cliff is 4000 ft high?
He survived, If he hit the edge with his head, he would`ve had no chance. Luckily he was able to get his bearings and launch his parachute.
