This is what the astronauts will be having for Thanksgiving aboard the Space Station

It`s Thanksgiving again (if you live in U.S.) ever wanted to know what astronauts aboard the ISS will be having?
Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 34 Commander Kevin Ford of NASA displayed some of the food he and his crewmates will enjoy on Thanksgiving Day on the orbital outpost and discussed the significance of flying in space over the holidays during a downlink message Nov. 20. Ford and his Russian crewmates, Oleg Novitskiy and Evgeny Tarelkin are tending to station operations and research as a three-man crew until three additional crewmates arrive at the complex on Dec. 21.

on the menu:

    Entree

    Irradiated Smoked turkey

    Sides

    Cornbread
    Baked beans
    Russian mashed potatoes and onions
    Corn
    Potatoes au gratin
Candied, "thermo-stabilized" yams, combined with marshmallow creme

    Dessert

    Russian apple dessert
    Cherry-peach cobbler
    Cranberry-apple dessert

that`s a pretty nice Thanksgiving dinner if you ask me
