North Korea claims to have put satellite in orbit

Maybe it actually worked this time? North Korea is claiming that they put a weather satellite into orbit:
 "The launch of the second version of our Kwangmyongsong-3 satellite from the Sohae Space Centre... on December 12 was successful," KCNA said. "The satellite has entered the orbit as planned."
According to North Korea the launch took place at 10am (Korea time) and as of now both the Americans and Japanese have requested a security council meeting to take place at 11am.

well maybe they did it this time, by the sounds of it something happened to spook the Japanese and Americans
