Unscathed: Can you believe the luck of these people?
This one`s from Belarus taken from a traffic cam. This van gets T-boned by a car and spins straight toward some pedestrians. Very lucky people, they should buy some lottery tickets, or maybe not getting hurt was their lottery win.
A good deed gone horribly wrong.....
In this video we see a guy freeing a mouse that has been keeping him up at night. So being the obvious animal lover he released the little rodent in a wooded area in hopes that it would have a proper mouse`s life and go on to do whatever mice do in the wild (like try to find another house?). That`s when things went horribly wrong......

Thorium reactors: A real energy crisis solution
Nuclear energy specifically nuclear reactors are become a bit taboo. But is there anything else that can be done with this technology? Are we not exploiting a technology that was envisioned decades ago due to our fear of all things nuclear? Watch this video about the Thorium fuel cycle reactor, maybe you`ll change your mind about nuclear energy and maybe our governments will start to embrace this technology.
Watch R`ha a short about a robot uprising
R´ha [short movie] from Kaleb Lechowski on Vimeo.
It`s only 6 minutes long, but it is really good. Sci-Fi at it`s finest, not going to spoil anything but it`s basically about a robot uprising on an alien world. Great work by it`s 22 year old creator Kaleb Lechowski.
How to go about building a Space gun
In Sci-Fi there`s a common theme of weaponized space craft, be it lasers, missiles or some kind of kinetic energy device they all seamed armed to the teeth. But have you ever wondered if this is plausible and what the real world challenges are to weaponize a space craft?

Watch this Audi Quattro cut a telephone pole in half
Rallying is really fun to watch, not only for the race but the accidents, and they can get pretty destructive. This Audi Quattro of team Klausner/Söllner slid around a corner at Austria's Jänner Rallye when a telephone pole decided to get in the way.
Sarah Kerrigan your dress is ready: A robotic spider dress
Sarah Kerrigan the Queen of Blades from the StarCraft franchise would love this thing. The legs have a creepy motion but man is it cool.

Video of Neutron star blasting away
This is nature at it`s most raw, watch as this neutron star blast matter and energy from its poles. At the center of the Vela supernova remnant is a madly spinning neutron star. It spins *11 times per second*, which helps it whip up a magnetic field so fierce it can actually defy the gravity of the star, which is a billion times stronger than Earth's!
All of this help it generate two beams of matter and energy that blast away from its poles. Recent observations of this beam show that it appears to be wobbly, making a corkscrew motion over a period of 120 days. This movie is made from 8 images of the pulsar and its weird beam taken by the Chandra X-ray Observatory
Ye Olde invisible driver at the drive thru prank
Think I`ve seen this before but it`s always good for a laugh. Car pulls up orders food then goes to pick it up at the window and low and behold no driver! Pretty ingenious little costume and the reactions to this driverless car are priceless. Have a look.

This is why you don`t want to live in a binary star system
Binary star systems sound cool and are featured in countless Sci-Fi stories and movies. But in almost half of all simulations the distant companion star ejected at least one of the gas giants, suggesting this would be a very common outcome in the millions of the galaxy's binary star systems.

This is what you`d look like going through a luggage X-ray machine
If you`ve ever wondered what someone would look like going through an airport luggage machine, well here it is. Apparently shot in Mexico, if you`d ask me to do I`d have to say no. I`m not sure how much radiation those things give off so I`d rather not take my chances.
not surprising
