This RC glider was piloted from the edge of space back to Earth
This is one very cool video. RC enthusiast David Windestal has taken an RC glider up to the edge of space (via balloon) and piloted back to Earth, but not without some almost show stopping difficulties.

The Matrix speed run: Watch The Matrix in 60 seconds
This is the Matrix (just the 1999 film) in 60 seconds flat. Great little animated short, love these speed runs.
From 1A4Studio:
Put machines, dreams, Neo, dystopia, and more machines into a blender and chug it really fast - that's the taste of this condensed version of the 1999 hit movie.
New After Earth trailer
This is the second trailer for After Earth from director M. Night Shyamalan. Stars Will Smith and his son Jaden. Looks pretty good hopefully it`ll be a good movie despite the fact its from M. Night Shyamalan!

Use the Force!: guiding a smoke ring around the neck of a beer bottle
If this is not the finest example of a Jedi Force Push i don`t know what is. This guy proceeds to blow a smoke ring and using nothing but his own sheer will (and The Force) guides it around the neck of a beer bottle. Not sure if he`s a Dark or Light side Jedi but it`s a cool trick nonetheless. I`ll have to give this guy props for being able to manipulate micro air currents the way he does. Wonder how many cartons of cigarettes it took to perfect it.
Another big asteroid heading our way this weekend
A recently discovered asteroid the size of a football field is heading our way, not to worry this one will cruise by us at over twice the distance of the moon or 960000 km or 600000 miles.

Hunting the Kraken: How the giant squid was found
Not all that long ago the first footage of a giant squid captured in its native habitat was released, you can watch it here. But what did it take to capture the images of the generally camera shy Architeuthis? You can bet there`s some a story and some very persistent researchers behind it.
2nd Iron Man 3 trailer
Here`s new the brand new 2nd trailer for Iron Man 3. Not only does good ole Tony have more problems (wouldn`t be much of movie if he just sat around eating corn flakes and playing Fruit Ninja now would it?) but it looks like he`s got a few new iron clad buddies too.
Build an awesome backyard BBQ on the cheap
With spring around the corner and summer not far behind its time to start thinking about backyard parties and of course barbecuing. But some of these gas grills are just down right expensive and to top it all off they have zero personality. So why not build your own BBQ pit? You can have a nice story to tell when you`re slugging back a couple of cold ones and if you`re up for it you can always throw your own custom touches into it too. Besides, who can argue with a build cost of around $250?

This is water tied into a knot
This is a first, scientists have tied water into a knot. Not the kind of knot you struggle with when you can`t get your shoes off but a knot nonetheless. These knots are quite different, first off they don`t have "ends" to untie, they are closed loops, yet it`s something that has eluded scientists for almost 100 years.
Quantum satellites: The new space race
There`s a new space race brewing and this one`s not about being the first to get anywhere, its about being the first to set up a quantum communications network. Thomas Jennewein and Brendon Higgins of the Institute for Quantum Computing at the University of Waterloo, Canada, describe that a quantum space race is taking place to create the world's first global quantum communication network.
This is a very interesting way to pass another car on the road
This is another one of those infamous Russian dashcam deals. Passing another vehicle on the road is nothing special, it happens so often not generally noteworthy at all. Then there`s this technique, think of it as an automotive ballet or a pirouette. Quite pretty to watch this Subaru do its thing, very nice.

These slingshot fired paper airplanes are deadly
To be fair I wouldn`t call these paper airplanes anymore, they`re more like flechettes or darts with steel tips. I still wouldn`t want to have one thrown at me though.
This RC steam powered trike is awesome
This one very cool custom RC vehicle. Not only does it look like some kind of post apocalyptic piece of heavy equipment, its steam powered. This 3 wheeler has a custom boiler, transmission to get the power to the wheels, heavy duty suspension and cute little pilot to steer this mechanical monstrosity.
