The Engineer speaks! teaser clip from the Prometheus Blu-Ray

The Engineer speaks! Watch this short video preview of the deleted scene where the Engineer speaks with David in Engineerese (I guess). So, any guesses as to what he`s saying, I`m thinking it`s bad news (don`t want to ruin it for those that haven`t seen the movie).

Sounds a bit like me ordering for last call.

We`ll all know soon, October 9th can`t come soon enough.

This is what happens when you expose 1500 ping pong balls to liquid nitrogen

This is pretty fun to watch. Watch Plymouth University professor Roy Lowry demonstrate what happens when you try to contain liquid nitrogen when it's trying to returning to its gaseous state. Skip to 3:15 if you can`t wait to see what happens.

Ain`t science fun?

This dog refuses to get up, even for traffic

Wow, this dog does not give a shedload about anything. Watch as traffic swerves around to avoid this lazy mutt that`s totally oblivious to traffic. This video was apparently shot in the Ukraine.

Grounded short

Grounded from Kevin Margo on Vimeo.

From the synopsis:

"One astronaut's journey through space and life ends on a hostile exosolar planet.

NASA begins work on real Warp drive

Courtesy of Gizmodo and Dr. Harold "Sonny" White:

Searching for Warp bubbles....

"Although this is just a tiny instance of the phenomena, it will be existence proof for the idea of perturbing space time-a "Chicago pile" moment, as it were. Recall that December of 1942 saw the first demonstration of a controlled nuclear reaction that generated a whopping half watt. This existence proof was followed by the activation of a ~ four megawatt reactor in November of 1943. Existence proof for the practical application of a scientific idea can be a tipping point for technology development."
